Community school
Semente is not a commercial enterprise. It is an association integrated in the country’s social movements that aims to educate in our language and build the future Galician National School. This means that there is no profit motive and no one is making money with the project. All the people who make Semente possible work to have the best school in Galicia that we dream of. Salary professionals and non-professional activists work at Semente, and we are all indispensable
for the smooth functioning of the school. Semente Compostela sustains itself thanks to the activists’ work and the contributions of families and collaborators, who, even without being users of the school’s services, believe that a solution must be given to the need for education in our language.
